In September 21, 2025, the International Day of Peace, the Saalbau Homburg will become the venue for a very special gathering:Live Peace Homburg is part of the global peace movement Live Peace, which, through concerts on all continents, sends a message of understanding, dialogue, and humanity. Inspired by Live Aid and supported by seven Nobel Peace Prize laureates and several peace organizations, Live Peace is growing into a worldwide event with increasing impact each year.

We are especially excited to announce the participation of one well known local band and two extraordinary artists, whose commitment and music inspire people worldwide:
Take four - take music
Take Four
Since 1990, the band Take Four (formerly Take Five) has been active. They have already performed alongside stars such as the Spider Murphy Gang, Boney M, Middle of the Road, Marmalade, The Lords, Manfred Mann, DJ Ötzi, Markus, Fräulein Menke, Hubert Kah, Costa Cordalis, and many more.
Their repertoire includes over 200 party hits from the past 50 years, as well as current chart-toppers. These are performed either true to the original or in the band’s own distinctive musical style.
The band places great importance on multi-part vocals, the danceability of their songs, and a selection of tracks tailored to each specific event.
The Voice of a Global Movement
Yael Deckelbaum
Israel’s award-winning singer, songwriter, and peace activist.
Yael gained international recognition with her viral hit “Prayer of the Mothers,” which has been viewed over 13 million times on YouTube.
The anthem was created as part of the March of Hope organized by Women Wage Peace and has become a symbol of female empowerment and hope in the Middle East.
In 2024, Yael released her new album “Surrender” — a profound work about love, loss, self-discovery, and healing. Through gentle, acoustic arrangements and poetic lyrics, she reveals her vulnerable, personal side — a musical return to intimacy, depth, and emotional openness. Her songs are both an invitation and a journey — toward inner balance, human connection, and gentle strength.
Yael’s music bridges cultures, generations, and stories. She performs worldwide at peace events and, together with Meera Eilabouni, was awarded the Günter Wallraff Prize.
Both artists are co-founders of the peace movements Women Wage Peace and Women of the Sun, which have now been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the second time.
Music that Builds Bridges
Meera Eilabouni
Palestinian artist and multi-instrumentalist Meera Eilabouni is a versatile musician from the small village of Eilaboun in Galilee. Her music combines blues, rock, reggae, and new-age sounds into an intense, touching experience.
As a queer artist, songwriter, and performer, Meera uses the power of music to overcome societal barriers.
Her songs tell stories of identity, pain, hope, and self-acceptance. At just 16, she wrote her first song, “Love is the Religion,” a bold plea for unity amid division and violence.
Since her youth, Meera has been involved in peace projects, participated in “Three Women Three Mother Tongues” with a Jewish-American musician, and took part in the March of Hope in 2016, where she met Yael — a musical and personal connection that endures to this day.
In her concerts, Meera creates spaces of transformation. With her voice and presence, she reminds us that music is not only expression but also healing. In 2023, she moved to Germany to continue her peace work across borders, cultures, and personal experiences.
